We talk about how companies need to be good corporate citizens to the community where they are located. I believe Anheuser Busch has been a good corporate citizen to the St. Louis area. Will a Belgian firm have as much incentive to continue this behavior? I was deeply saddened by the news of the potential purchase of Anheuser Busch by the Belgian firm InBev. Because I was raised in the St. Louis area, I had several flashbacks.
