Fishing is not a exercise in probability
Jan 29th, 2012 by Rick Haynes.I was fishing this weekend for steelhead in Erie PA. We stood next to two local men who used the same bait, tackle and area in the creek. 6 of us caught nothing in 3 days. The locals caught 5 each day.
If the probability of catching a fish was constant, we would have done better.
Ho: fisherman is non significant if everything else is constant.
Ha: fishermen are significant.
In this test the p-value was <<0.0001

You should have switched positions with the locals ;)
