An on-site kaizen business-system creation workout log: Selecting improvement projects that benefit the business as a whole

Recently I conducted a workout to help a company initate the creation of a business system that not only leads to the identification of process improvement projects so that the business as a whole benefits but also will integrate predictive scorecards with analytically/innovatively determined strategies.

The long-term objectives of this effort is to created an Integrated Enterprise Excellence (IEE) system that is described in “C-Suite: The Need to Re-think our Business System’s Strategic Planning, Scorecard Creation, and Process Improvement Efforts;” however, during the week, we make some adjustments from our typical workout plan to address customer needs.

After each day-long session I created a blog that netted out what was done during the day. This blog will provide links to each of the day’s activities.

- Day 1

- Day 2

- Day 3

- Day 4

- Day 5
