At the International Lean and Six Sigma Conference on March 16-18, 2010 I will be conducting a keynote presentation on Creating Profitable-Green-Business Strategies.
In this presentation, I will describe how Green lean sigma metrics need an orchestration integration with traditional value chain functional performance metrics such as quality, cost, and time so that the enterprise as a whole benefits. In addition, green lean sigma metric improvement efforts need an orchestration with other organizational process performance enhancement objectives so that the enterprise as a whole acts responsibly relative to the coordination of environment and business financial needs.
The described system shows how to accomplish these objectives using a predictive metric system and detailed roadmap for making improvements. This system can help organizations determine and refine their green lean sigma integration efforts as part of an overall business governance system in the areas of energy and greenhouse gases, environmental management systems, water management, waste/disposal, facilities/equipment, and workforce programs.
