Integrated and interoperable healthcare system at country level; issues and resolution

QUESTION: Request your input on the topic of integrated and interoperable healthcare system at country level, its uniqueness, with reference to identity tracking, processes, its advantages and disadvantages with procedures.

RESPONSE: In healthcare and elsewhere policies are often created so that the system as a whole does not benefit.  This silo approach to business management can lead to very unhealthy behaviors.  I have found that one needs to start at the top and work downward in healthcare and elsewhere with the integration of predictive scorecards, analytically/innovatively determined strategies and business improvement so that the overall system (e.g., healthcare) benefits.

The following describes, at varying levels of detail, an enhanced business management system (Integrated Enterprise Excellence [IEE]) that integrates business-management components and leads organizations toward achieving the 3 Rs of business; i.e., everyone doing the Right things and doing them Right, at the Right time:

- COMPLIMENTARY E-BOOK describes issues with many common-place business practices and provides an alternative IEE business management system: “The Integrated Enterprise Excellence System: An Enhanced, Unified Approach to Balanced Scorecards, Strategic Planning, and Business Improvement.” There are two versions available:

(1) e-pub: which works on most e-readers (Ipad, nook,…)
** for this version, please read the notes because your PC may change the file type to a .zip file on download.

(2) mobi: which works on the Kindle series of e-readers.

- The following whitepaper describes the IEE 9-step business management system: “C-Suite – The Need to Re-think our Business System’s Strategic Planning, Scorecard Creation, and Process Improvement Efforts“  .

Described also in these documents is reference to other books that contain the entire how-to’s of execution.
